Plan your next family reunion or vacation to Southeast Alaska! Let Parker Guide Services and the M/V Alaskan harvest be your tour guides and mobile lodge. We specialize in activities for the whole family and have the staff and equipment to ensure that everyone will be able to do something they enjoy.
For the kids we can head to the beach and look at the variety of marine life that inhabits the intertidal zone of southeast. The guide and naturalist accompanying you on your beach excursion will be able to tell you about the different creatures you discover.
Another favorite is making fish print t-shirts. This activity starts off with a fishing trip to catch one of the many varieties of rockfish in southeast Alaska. After we secure a fish we will bring it inside and break out the paint. Each person will paint the fish, creating their own unique pattern. When painting is complete a t-shirt will be pressed on the fish leaving a painted fish imprint on the shirt. After the fabric paint on the shirt dries, you are ready to show off your fish print shirt!
